Investor 1 Resident Visa<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

If you have NZ $10 million to invest in New Zealand over a 3-year period, you can apply for New Zealand residence. If you\u2019re granted residence you can come to New Zealand with your family and enjoy our unique lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Invest in New Zealand<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

You must keep NZD $10 million invested in an acceptable investment in New Zealand for 3 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Spend time in New Zealand<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

You must spend 44 days in each of the last two years of your three-year investment period in New Zealand, or, 88 days at any time over the three year investment period if you have invested a minimum of NZ$2.5 million in growth investments.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Bring your family to New Zealand<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

If your family are included in your resident visa, they\u2019ll need to come to New Zealand within 12 months of their visa being granted.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Travel as a resident<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

You can travel in and out of New Zealand for the first 2 years of your investment period.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you meet all of the conditions that apply to the first 2 years of your investment period, you can apply for a variation of conditions to allow you to travel in and out of New Zealand for another 2 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Travel as a permanent resident<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

If you\u2019ve met all the conditions at the end of your 3 year investment period, you can apply for a permanent resident visa for you and any family included in your residence application.<\/span>
\nIf granted, you\u2019ll be able to travel in and out of New Zealand indefinitely, as long as you keep your visa in a valid passport.<\/span><\/p>\n

Investor 2 Resident Visa<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Experienced business people who have a minimum of NZ $3 million in available funds or assets can apply for New Zealand residence.\u00a0Before you can apply, we\u2019ll first need you to send Immigration New Zealand an Expression of Interest \uff0ctelling\u00a0 about your business experience, investment and settlement funds. If your Expression of Interest is successful Immigration New Zealand will invite you and your partner and dependent children to apply for New Zealand residence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Invest in New Zealand<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

You must keep your nominated funds\u00a0invested in an acceptable investment in New Zealand for 4 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Spend time in New Zealand<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

You must spend 146 days per year in New Zealand, or 438 days at any time over the four year investment period if you have invested a minimum of NZ$750,000 in growth investments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn English<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

If your\u00a0IELTS\u00a0certificate shows an overall band score of 3 when you apply for residence, you must complete 20 hours English language tuition at a New Zealand-registered school or tertiary education provider within the 4-year investment period.<\/span><\/p>\n
