Entrepreneur Work Visa<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

This visa is for people who want to work in their own business in New Zealand. To apply, you\u2019ll need to provide a detailed business plan, have at least NZ $100,000 to invest in your business and be able to claim 120 points on our points scale. If you\u2019re granted this visa, you can buy or set up a business without living here permanently, or as a first step towards New Zealand residence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements for the New Zealand Entrepreneur Work Visa<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Listed below are some of the requirements to be considered for this visa, but it is advisable to seek professional advice .<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 minimum capital investment of NZ$100,000 (excluding working capital)<\/span>
\n\u2022 120 points or more, with points awarded for factors about the likely success of the business and its value to New Zealand \u2013Goldvisa migration<\/strong>\u00a0will be able to calculate your points<\/span>
\n\u2022 A clear business plan<\/span>
\n\u2022 A clean recent history of bankruptcy, business failure and fraud<\/span>
\n\u2022 health, character and English language requirements<\/span><\/p>\n

This visa could lead to residency<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

There are two ways of qualifying for residence under this policy:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Entrepreneur Residence Category (2 years) – Requires you to have successfully established or purchased a business in New Zealand and have been self-employed in that business for at least two years, and for your business to have significantly benefited New Zealand.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Entrepreneur Residence Category (6 months) – This option provides a faster track to residence if you have invested at least NZ$500,000 in your business and have created a minimum of 3 new full-time jobs in New Zealand .<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have business experience for at least 3 years, which is gained from running your own business or holding a management position and money, then you have a fair chance to migrate to New Zealand under the New Zealand Entrepreneur Work Visa Category. Using this visa, you can either buy a business, invest or start your own business.It is essential to demonstrate the benefits imparted by your business to New Zealand. Once your business completes operating for two years, you can apply for permanent residence.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Entrepreneur Resident Visa<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

This visa is for people who have been self-employed in New Zealand\u00a0at least 6 months, or have operated a business for two years on another visa that allows self-employment.<\/span><\/p>\n
